I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Case Western Reserve University. My main area of research is Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, with emphasis on development of algorithms for data analysis in Systems Biology. My teaching mostly focuses on algorithms, bioinformatics, and computational biology at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

From November 2007 to June 2013, I was the Theodore and Dana Schroeder Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, an endowed chair awarded to junior faculty by the Case School of Engineering. I also have a secondary appointment at Case Center for Proteomics & Bioinformatics and serve on the steering committee of CWRU's Systems Biology & Bioinformatics graduate programs.
